Anyone want to run the 24 hour race at Le Mans in iRacing this weekend?
Don’t currently have an endurance team and just realized the race is coming up quick. Not super fast (like we know from the league), but pretty consistent and know the track/car well.
I’d prefer the LMP2, but could drive a GTE too. Only requirement is a C class license and the track/car.

Tempting, none in my team are doing it so I could go rogue if I wanted to. But I cannot commit until my weekend schedule gets locked in. Chances are I can’t make it. As for cars. I would prefer GTE as I got the BMW and Porsche, but I have been curious about the LMP2 so it could be on the table, I have to consider how much I would use it.
IMSA is going to be the top level series starting next season, so you should get some good use out of it, +endurance events too.
I have the Porsche GTE and do like the car quite a bit, wouldn’t be opposed to running it at all. Just have less seat time in it.
We’d need 1-2 more people, 2 drivers would be rough (but totally doable if we want to try it)
I’ll have my status later today(friday). But I don’t even know where to sign up if I want to do it so not a good start. And we’d need more people for sure.

Alright. Didn’t consider it wasn’t a special event. I can make the first 9hrs of the 7am slot. No chance of doing any more. Jumping into a new-to-me car would be risky and slow, so I suggest we do the Porsche this time.
Let me take a look into it today and we can maybe give it a go
