It looks like Meta is doing another innovation, where they don’t give a fuck and show ads to millions of fake users who are doing obviously fake AI posts and to millions of obviously fake AI repliers to those fake AI posts, then charge the advertisers for those ads and laugh all the way to the bank.

I mean…its just a combination of AI and the already bot ridden race to the bottom of digital marketing. Everyone is just trying to stop their clients from realising their ads have no effect unless they’re a major brand that can afford the big bucks.
Every major ad serving platform is provably lying on their stats and the ad agencies are double lying.

The AI is just stupid, so it isn’t able to correctly take an average of children birthday photos and is instead doing an average of random photos of children. It is so insane that AI now means… this. In the past, AI is supposed to mean an actual artificial intelligence, now it just means whatever this crap is. More generalized algorithms, I guess?
