Trump’s leadership PAC spent all the money it took in last month on his legal bills.

This is good because the outcome of Trump losing is better, but it also sounds like a celebration of campaing spending deciding the outcome of the election, which is both true and horrific.

Candidtates platforms being far less important than how much is spent getting them to be recoginized is a terrible system. Yes, a certain amount needs to be spent to get the messag out, but when spending is so tightly correlates wih outcomes it means buying the election. The fact that it isn’t a guarantee kind of sucks because if it was a guarantee we might actually do something about it.

I just don’t get it. Even if it were my own party’s candidate, I wouldn’t contribute money if it was just all going to legal bills. And it’s not just for his defense either. He’s launching appeal after appeal, and he doesn’t care because it’s not his money.

But on the bright side, that’s less money going to televangelists, firearms, and pickup truck lift-kits.

But if it’s mostly about the trial, the appeal, the other trial, the other appeal, the sexual harassment lawsuit, the appeal, etc, day after day after day going on about his guilt, it just might get through some thick skulls enough to not vote for the orange parasite.

That’s what the right wing did to the Clintons, and it worked to a degree, even when it was mostly lies and twisting the narratives, they managed to make Hillary unsavory for enough potential and swing voters.
