Been her favorite spot since she was a kitten. For a while I thought she’d outgrow it, nope.

    I have two!

First is my kitten Maryjane, who jumps up to beg for a can of food, second is the both Miles Morales and Maryjane.

Miles gets on my shoulder to both beg for a can of food and get better access to the houseplants.

I’ve been looking at a lab! I grew up with a yellow lab. Greatest dogs. So patient. I just need a fence

A fenced in yard is a great asset for larger dogs.

We live blocks from a dog park and… never go.

Good to know! I don’t think I’m particularly close to any. I live in a pretty small town, but, yeah, it’s not that I’m worried about my dogs in particular, it’s other’s. Same reason I’ll never get a motorcycle in essence. Also, when my lab growing up would come back from more public dog areas, they always had some sort of learned behavior that wasn’t there before. Whether neutral or negative. A lot like children lol

Mine just stands on my balls while on my lap and slowly extends his nails. It’s his way of telling me it’s snack time.

It’s all fun and cute until your chilling gaming and then a 10lbs cannonball of fur and claws jumps on your shoulders and scares the everloving shit out of you. Still love it though

I currently have fairly large claw marks up my back. Worth it. She’s normally pretty careful hahaha

I did. One of my cats liked to spend as much time as possible up there as a kitten. Then he grew into a long, muscular, 18-pound beastie, and continued to sit there. It was wonderful!

Lately my cat starts meowing while standing at the shoe dresser. As soon as I go there he tries to climb on my shoulders. I bend over a bit and he climbs on my back and wants me to go around the house. I was enslaved as soon as he entered our home.

Mine don’t fit, but they both try just the same.

The younger one uses it as a means to tell me he wants attention or food

Not mine, but I met a shoulder cat at the shelter today. This is him with a shelter volunteer.

That might even be better. That’s cool that a stray trusts you like that.
