Hmm, just saw a lemmy user and 2 kbin users talking in comments, why can’t i reply?? 🥲

Having said that I always see that there are either no replies or no lemmy replies to kbin users as if no one wanted or could respond. I find it weird I see no mention of this anywhere.

I have, i’ve even gotten a reply from someone on kbin. I think you can check the federation status from the lemmy side but i’m not sure how to check it from the kbin side.

well i can always reply when im on kbin, never been unable, from kbin, to reply to any comment

but from lemmy, at least on sh.itjust.works and lemm.ee, i’ve never been able to have one of my replies to kbin submitted, always the lil loading circle.

have u had issues with that or is it all normal on your side when u try and reply to a kbin comment?

I’ve heard kbin occasionally has an issue of not being federated for a bit. I think its just glitchy sometimes, when it works you can talk to kbin easily

I seem to be running into language issues. Whenever Ii can’t reply to someone if I set the comment to English it will go through. I think it’s when the person I’m replying to, or perhaps the whole community, has deselected undetermined without realizing.,

I always check the instance after it fails and I think it’s like 99% kbin for me and like 1% lemmy.world when they’re having too many people posting memes or something and their server is hanging
