Happy Friday everyone! Day 34 for me. Drove through a horrible storm yesterday afternoon on my way home from training, had to pull over for all of the hail. I was so relieved to get home, I opened an NA beer in celebration. In the past, I would have used this kind of thing to drink all evening to “relieve the stress”. But I actually did the best self care last night by taking a shower, getting into comfy pajamas, and going to bed early. This sober life is good stuff. Not drinking poisonous alcohol today, let’s do this!
