most of the time libs will spot “life is cheap in the orient” as appalling and racist but this kind of thing keeps flying. refugees drowning in the mediterranean is another big example in the modern era.
Let’s face it, when westerners say “life is cheap in x place” what they’re really saying is “I don’t value the lives of people in x place”
