Is there something especially convoluted about using two web browsers?

no, just the little conspiracy theory you invented.

Accountability? Is that what you call pasting the same paragraph at someone in the comment section of a sparsely populated link aggregator?

you really do love twisting what I said into

    Straw man

A straw man fallacy (sometimes written as strawman) is the informal fallacy of refuting an argument different from the one actually under discussion, while not recognizing or acknowledging the distinction.[1] One who engages in this fallacy is said to be “attacking a straw man”

facing the consequences of your actions is not a state of victimhood.

“DARVO is an acronym used to describe a common strategy of abusers. The abuser will: Deny the abuse ever took place, then Attack the victim for attempting to hold the abuser accountable; then they will lie and claim that they, the abuser, are the real victim in the situation, thus Reversing the Victim and Offender.”

I am not responsible for your psychological projection. I would point out that you’re the one who keeps returning to an interaction you find frustrating and unsatisfying expecting different results, and blaming me because I won’t give you the answers you want.

What gives you the impression I find this frustrating? I’m deeply amused by your commitment to this maintaining this comment chain after you’ve already written me off as someone acting in bad faith. I’m mostly just curious to see how long you’ll continue this before you get bored. I’m not sure what you think I’m blaming for or what answers you think I’m trying to get from you.

You may be the only person I’ve ever seen so committed to having the last word. I guess I can at least try and justify this self-indulgence by saying it’s kind of stress testing the comment nesting capabilities of lemmy.
