There’s a song, I think I only heard one time likely on KGON in Portland, OR and likely in the late 70s. This song has haunted me over the years but I have never been able to locate it again.

The one thing I really remember is that there is a spoken-word portion where the vocalist talks about the Boogie Woogie, but pronounces it more like Boozhi Woozhi.

I’m laying in bed quarantined with Covid and once again its memory and my inability to determine what song it was is haunting me.

THIS is the answer! Thank you so very very much! I am completely unsure why a song I only heard the one time has come back to haunt me over the last 40 years or so, but it did and you have solved the mystery!

Just listened and I don’t think that’s the one. But thank you! The video of it I found in YouTube brought back many memories!

As much as I dislike Google, am gonna recommend it for this. They added a feature to where you could sing or even hum a few words and it would throw out some songs as possibilities.

I had a song that had been haunting me since the 90s and had tried absolutely everyone to locate the title. Me and my wife were on our honeymoon in Mexico and I heard this song playing several times on local radio stations. When we got back (Miami) I heard it again and was like ‘huh’ what’s the name but forgot to ask.

I had been chasing that song forever until I ran across where Google could locate songs by you singing or humming. It took me several tries but after several attempts it found it. Not the exact version I remember but a version.

It doesn’t really contain a spoken word part, but the poor pronunciation made me think of Yes Sir, I Can Boogie by Baccara.
