Some memes are easy, some memes need an explanation. Fortunately this one comes with context - highly convenient. Perhaps we should be pushing for legislation to make this mandatory. Big Meme has had free reign for too long

          That’s true. This IS now a meme.

          What grinds my gears is when people say “I made this meme” when first sharing their image macro. It’s not a meme and it might never be one. Or it could be huge.

            You’re right. Maybe there ought to be a term for an attempt at a meme. Maybe a “proto meme”?
