Isn’t that the same logic your parents and other people close to you have applied as well? What differentiates your punishment from theirs?

I see. If their punishment had the purpose to disinform you and prevent your education, it had logic. The seemingly random methods were then part of a larger scheme. So they followed an agenda as well and probably were convinced that their way is the only true way and that what they do serves a greater good (to them).

Following that thought means that their view was just as subjective as yours. If you invert their goals and beliefs, you basically went from one extreme to another. I don’t think that this creates a balance or rights a wrong.

You said yourself that they had intent. So that implies a scheme, no?

And why are subjective views not part of intelligence? Not everything can be objective, as some things depend on perception and observation, which can only ever be from an individual viewpoint, and therefore subjective.

How are you punishing me exactly?
I feel better now that i know i can cause you pain by merely existing.
