    I do understand how it feels to be villified as a minority so thank you for trying to connect with that. And you bring good points not to use a select few that misrepresent your group.

    However, maybe it’s just me but every time I interact with someone from the LGBT community online, I am immediately attacked and called a bigot just because of my beliefs as a Muslim. You are literally the only one so far that has been respectful to me despite my hostile approach initially which I do apologize for.

    Perhaps this goes to show that uniting on the basis of being a minority is not the way forward. There has to be a unifying ideology because once a group starts as a minority and accomplishes its goal, it no longer has a cause to fight for. Alhamdulillah, in Islam there is a goal for everyone to strive for in the Hereafter. Otherwise, people will be left aimless in this world.
