It’s not illegal where I’m from and my family is aware, but I’m not dumb enough to shout it from the rooftops and make it obvious out and about. And this highlights why the fight for LGBT rights are still important - we’re still getting murdered or beaten for who we are.
Do you mind sharing your story as to why you identify as LGBT? When did you start developing non-hetero feelings?
I usually find that most people have gone through some form of trauma, abuse, or an experience they’ve had as a child which continued to develop and eventually led to them becoming LGBT.
