Feels like a step down, to me. It was the funniest giveaway seeing that line in comments from “totally legit” users, and now it’s immediately unacceptable

Yeah I kind of think like the " paid placement" flags YouTube vids.have to show “I am not human” should be mandated

I’d also enjoy it if it could stop reminding me to check with a professional <job_title> after I have explicitly acknowledged that this is required and that it is no longer necessary to remind me.

I understand why it does it, but I’m not actually trying anything risky by asking about the load capacity of various aluminum profiles.

Somewhat. I’m looking at v-slot aluminium profiles to build something small and non-critical for my desk that is reusable long-term at least for the components. I’m just trying to not create waste unnecessarily or damage the parts.

I guess context is everything. I was imagining an engineer trying to make critical design decisions based on the answers to ChatGPT questions.

I have tested it a few times about similar technical knowledge and it failed to get some important things right just about every time. Even going so far as to site nonexistent sources and attribute sources to nonexistent people.
