Everyone seems to be talking about this one.

I’ve been playing CS since … forever … and CS2 is really, really good. It’s mostly the same but all the changes are (I think) improvements. I’m real excited to see how this changes the game and the pro scene.

Most importantly for me personally CS2 seems to have fixed some routing issues I was experiencing with CSGO so it’s actually playable!

If you like FPS like CoD or Valorant, give CS2 a try. It’s a classic for a reason and this iteration is going to be the best one yet, I’m sure of it.

Well, came out of nowhere for folks who didn’t know about it. Counter Strike is one of the oldest, most played FPS / esports in the world. I do think it’s going to bring in a LOT of new people though and honestly now is one of the best times in history to get into it.

Depending on what kind of match-making system it has, you might be able to get in to it. A lot of modern Pvp games used skill based matchmaking systems. They look at your aggregate performance over the last 5-10 games and try to match you with people who have similar performance. On paper that means you’re always being matched against people who are of similar skill so you always get challenging matches, whether you’re a god of the arena or at a much humbler skill level. It doesn’t always work well, but the idea is to give people matches where they can have a good, challenging game without either dominating or being dominated.

              UGH!

I hate multiplayer games because they’re fucking complicated for, well, multiplayer games. Don’t get me wrong… I want to enjoy them… But I just can’t… git gud.
