I personally think so. We have too many tools to synch on an opponent’s turn now, and Calamity’s effect is just too oppressive.

I honestly wish they would stop printing cards like this. They are the least fun kinds of cards and the moment they are good enough to see play, they are miserable enough to ban.
Maybe they can errata the card to make it only summonable on your own turn - and do the same for Kali Yuga while they’re at it.
I feel like errata for cards, especially new or popular ones, make the game more complex, which is a proliferating problem in my opinion. The game is already very hard to teach.
I think so, yes. For as long as it exists, people will try to find ways to bring it out.
