Security in the trek universe was always trash.
Just random entities floating in and a abducting folks for decades.
The Borg Queen was probably like, “Fine, if you won’t tell me the access codes, I’ll just brute force them! 0000…wait, what?”
I always figured the real authentication was tied into the comm badges, and the authorization codes were just a fancy “are you sure”
voice recognition biosensor data, whatever psychic thing that lets computer know when youre addressing it and not just saying the word computer.
