Civilizations brag about having no homeless people when they are creating the problem they solve(by creating permanent living quarters and shelter).
Also reminds me of anprim ecofash(:a-guy: #ripbozo) who say that bigotry just exists by virtue of people being able to take a break from base survival struggles so the solution is to reduce people back to basic survival conditions.
A complex society obviously creates it’s own issues, but the “solution” of forcefully transitioning back to hunter gatherer societies would kill literally billions of people. Not a low billions either. Like I’d rather live with the shitty status quo than watch everyone I know starve or die of infection.
