    I skimmed through most of it and it talks about things I already knew. It takes quite a long time for higher species, particularly mammals to stabilize their DNA once there’s a large variety in the genome and if divergence goes on but not far along to create a new species, the hybridization actually keeps a lot of bad genes far longer than inbreeding periodically would.
