        I’m seeing more and more bullshit from the users in that instance these last few days. It’s a shame so good communities are there and some good users are also there. I’m just blocking on a per community and user basis I don’t tfink they’re worth a total block just yet

    Called it at the time. Once world defederated from grad, I said that the same people would find a new instance to designate as the “tankie instance” to whine about until it got removed for not being neoliberal enough.

    Here we are. Wonder what the next instance is gonna be.

        I dont see enough midwest.social content anywhere to justifying calling it out as anything in larticular in the first place.

      I really don’t know what made you think I’m a lemmy.world user? Lemmy.ml and Lemmygrad are literally owned by the same Tankies that also made Lemmy and a short glimpse into their worldnews community could’ve really told you how infested it is with Tankies and their agenda.

      this is weird analysis ? grad and ml are both flagship* instances, hosted by the same team. that’s what they have in common and it’s an extremely unique situation. where on earth are you getting the idea there will be a third or fourth (what was the third)? bad question, sorry. my point is simply that this isn’t a search and destroy mission but a consistent application of values.

      *i know grad isn’t technically but idk a better word for it

      edit: also i just noticed your bad faith “whining” comment. come on now, it’s a federated platform. they are participating im the very feature that the platform was designed for. maybe look in the mirror before tossing around accusations like “whining” smh. :/

              • and, given this, how does users becoming frustrated with an instance that partakes in the same behaviors constitute “finding another”?

              my perception is that individuals who have beliefs and wants on the internet are literally just acting consistently and rationally as they build out their online community. my perception is you are unfairly characterizing normal and non-destructive interaction with a perceived threat as though it’s some kind of search and destroy operation.
