An East Bay woman has crocheted what appears to be the world’s longest scarf at 982 feet long, and that scarf’s measurements are currently under review to grant her the Guinness World Record.

      I’m certain those Guinness book of world record people measured this lady’s scarf with a measuring tape and a calculator to qualify her. They are so by-the-book it’s not even funny.

        I think you may have missed the point of the image. That is Tom Baker, most known for playing the 4th regeneration of Doctor Who. The 4th Doctor is known for eating Jelly Babies, and having a very long scarf. So long in fact, that over the years of filming, the scarf got shorter and shorter due to damage to it from being so long.
